Oktoberfest 2019

We ended the race season on October 12th at the Rock Hall Yacht Club with our annual Oktoberfest Regatta. Fifteen racers and 16 boats competed in Mixed and Heavy Classes.

Check out the video of the last race of the 8 HP class. It was an exciting tie breaker race and I won’t ruin the ending, if you weren’t able to make it to Oktoberfest. And don’t peek at the Race Results to find out how it ends!

Thank you to the Safety Boat crew, Capt. Lee Urbani, Rich Faulkner and Todd Steffes for all your hard work and long hours on the boat to make sure our racers were safe!

Awards ceremony was held at the Steffes home in Rock Hall.

We ended the event with an Oktoberfest dinner at BayWolf restaurant in Rock Hall with most people choosing the traditional Wiener Schntizel. It was a lovely end to the season!

On behalf of all the CCWBRA Executive Committee and Board Members, we look forward to seeing you all out on the water next year for our 10th season of Cocktail Class racing.
