Notice of Race

Chris Norman, the Regional Fleet Captain for the Moonshiners Region is pleased to announce the Tennessee Cup to be held at the beautiful Pickwick Landing State Park in Counce, Tennessee on Saturday, September 18, 2021!

Our venue is Pickwick Landing State Park which is near the Shiloh National Battlefield and close to Savannah Tennessee. The Tennessee River is also part of one of the most traveled cruising routes in the United States. 

Lodging:  The State Park has a wonderful Lodge as well as Cabins and Camp Sites. A Hampton Inn is also nearby in the town of Counce, TN.

For those of you that are new to the organization, we will have a Spare Boat, engines, parts and technical advice to ensure that everyone has fun and a chance to compete.

If you can arrive early, we will have a Friday Reception following boat inspections and registration and if you can stay another night after the race, we will have a Pickwick Lake tour on Sunday.

For those traveling from the East, you may want to visit Nashville, Knoxville or Chattanooga while visiting our State. Those arriving from the west can stop by Memphis for some Blues, Beale Street, the Peabody Ducks or a trip to Graceland. I would also highly recommend the Muscle Shoals area of Alabama. Much of the music from our generation takes roots in this area. 

Race Registration is $50. 

There is a $10.00 late registration fee if you register after September 11th.  Last day to register is Friday, September 17th.

4:00pm- 6:00pm Boat Inspections, Check-In and Registration near Shelter 2 at the State Park. 

7:00pm Welcome Reception and Dinner (Location TBA)

Order of Race will be announced at Dinner

Saturday 

8:00am Boat Inspections and Registration

9:00am MANDATORY Drivers Meeting

09:30am Races Begin!

Lunch is included in race registration fee and will be provided for the Racer plus one guest.

At completion of races Awards at the Pavilion.
