Fall Frolic – Cancelled due to Nationals date change

The third time will be the charm for racing at the Safe Harbor – Great Oak Landing Marina in Chestertown, MD! After two tries in October were impacted by late season weather, we’ve moved the event to September 21st. 

Come experience this new CCWBRA venue inside Fairlee Creek, just seconds from the Chesapeake Bay. Great Oak Landing is a full-service marina and includes a hotel, restaurant overlooking the marina, beach and beach bar. We’ll be racing off the point/beach in front of the marina, and GOL is reopening their cool tiki bar, Jellyfish Joel’s, just for us and spectators! The marina will be promoting this event to their slipholders at a value-added event, so we expect nice turnout and race excitement. 

Great Oak Landing is offering a 20% discount on hotel rooms for CCWBRA members. Reservations may be made by calling 410-778-5007. Please make reservations as soon as possible, and identify yourself as a CCWBRA member for the rate.

Lunch can be purchased from The Landing restaurant and will be brought to the waterfront. Following racing and course cleanup, we’ll hold the awards ceremony on The Landing Deck overlooking the marina. And we’ll do dinner together off the menu in the dining room (pay on your own).

Race Registration is $(TBD) and available until racing begins. Tickets will open soon.

Lunch can be purchased directly from The Landing on race day.
