Kent Island Yacht Club

Kent Island Yacht Club is nestled on a gorgeous peninsula along Maryland’s beautiful Kent Narrows on the Chesapeake and has been an exciting and fun location for our Regattas for many years. KIYC has a rich history of hosting regattas and is very welcoming to our organization.

Tickets are $55 per driver (lunch can be purchased on own from the club bar). Online registration only – open until 1:00pm race day.

Boats may be dropped off at the Kent Island Yacht Club on Friday evening for this fun, one-day event! 

Schedule of Events: 

Friday, July 12

Evening – Club grounds available for trailer drop-off

Saturday, July 13

8:00 am – Safety inspections and launching

10:30 am – Mandatory Drivers’ Meeting – all classes

11:00 am – Races Begin!  Races will continue until completed 

11:30pm – Lunch will be available at Kent Island Yacht Club snack bar  

                     Depending on the race schedule we may or may not break for lunch. 

Awards & Dinner:  Following Last Race & Clean-Up!:  AWARDS CEREMONY!!! 

Please stick around after the awards ceremony for dinner. The Kent Island Yacht Club Dining area and full service bar are available for us after the races. This is always a good time and we have enjoyed this privilege for many years. Thank you KIYC!!!!
