Skuas on the Lehigh Race at Adams Island on June 1^st 2024

The Cocktail Class is pleased to be returning to Adams Island for the 2024 Skuas on the Lehigh race on June 1^st.  The 100+ year old Allentown Swimming and Boating Club is welcoming us back to one of CCWBRA’s favorite racing spots.  Homey, shady, and delightfully historic Adams Island is hidden between the banks of the Lehigh River in Allentown.  It is easy to get lost on the way.  But once you have found it, you’ll understand why others who raced there in the past have said that racing at Adams Island is reminiscent of the early days of “cottage racing.”  

Several improvements to the boat-and-motor-handling features are being completed to make the racing experience even more enjoyable.
