TK Walker Memorial Tennessee Cup

For those that had the pleasure of knowing TK, you understand why this race is dedicated to him. A staunch supporter of the CCWBRA and a driving force to the establishment of the Tennessee Cup.

Our venue is the Pickwick Landing State Park. The park has a hotel (all rooms face the lake), Cabins and Camping on site. We chose a three-day weekend to race so you would have extra time to enjoy our local area. Columbus & Indigenous Peoples Day Weekend offered us the opportunity.

Schedule

Friday Oct 11th

• 4:00pm- 6:00pm Boat Inspections and Registration near Shelter 2 at the State Park
• 7:00pm Welcome Reception and Dinner

Saturday Oct 12th

• 8:00am Boat Inspections and Registration
• 9:00am Racing begins
• Lunch will be provided for the Racer plus one guest

Launching facilities include a launch ramp and beach launching. The State Park has a Restaurant and marina. There are Restrooms at our Race location

Sunday Oct 13,

Rain Date if needed. The desired plan is a Lake tour on a boat much larger than 8’

CCWBRA NOR Tennessee Cup 2024

We are all familiar with the fun of Cocktail Class Racing and by attending the last race of the season, you can also experience a second adventure. We have a lot to offer, and many enjoy the area as they pass through on the Tennessee River (Pickwick Lake) that is part of the “Great Loop”. We have a great venue with wonderful support from the park and its Rangers. As always, we will have a spare boat, boat parts and boat sharing so everyone can have a full day of racing. Whatever motors you bring, we will race that class.

For those traveling from the East, you may want to visit Nashville, Knoxville or Chattanooga while visiting our State. Those arriving from the west can stop by Memphis. I would also highly recommend the Muscle Shoals area of Alabama.
