I’m a new member of the CCWBRA. I’m spending summer months in the northeast region and winter months (Dec-Mar) in the southeast. I’m wondering if there are any racing events planned during the early months of 2020 in Florida?

Corey, welcome aboard and you will meet a great bunch of Guys and Gals that make up this organization … To answer your question .. YES … We have two races in Florida usually around the last week of February and the first week of March .. These are coordinated within four or five days of each other so participants can compete in both races before having to travel back home to where they are sometimes met with Ice and Snow..
The venues are New Smyrna Beach and Lake Placid. The new schedule usually comes out later in the Fall … Hope this helps and again… Welcome .. TK

Welcome to the CCWBRA! I look forward to meeting you and to seeing you ate this year’s races!
We are working on getting the calendar set for next year, but it appears that the dates for the Florida races are Governor’s Cup at Smyrna Yacht Club on Saturday March 7, 2020 and the Lake Placid Race on Tuesday March 10. We will be sending out a “Save the Date” notice shortly.
