TN Cup stays in Tennessee

Greetings from the Moonshiner Region. First off I want to mention the great Job our Fleet Captain Chris Norman and his wife Lori and other family members did to make a first time meet very successful. The weather raised it’s head before we could run the 8 HP class but we did get to run the rest of our classes.

One of our many highlights is meeting Vernon Hart and his crew from Memphis with three new boats. Rick and Terry Loewen  Fleet Captain from the Fla. Region and our friends from the north, Jack and Nancy, Fred and Suzie, Tom and his son Caleb, and Lee and Deb. As well as our local Team Walker and Sam and Wendy Wearly. We all stayed at the Pickwick Landing Lodge, which is in the Pickwick State Park and enjoyed their Restaurant as well as other local eating establishments.

Chris also had three of his boats available for first time racers and to generate interest in our sport. I don’t know all of the race results or total participants. I think Chris will follow up with this info. I know a lot of pictures was taken and hopefully we can get them posted.
