Note from the Commodore: This year we are attempting to hold two races on the same day. Our friends in Tennessee are hosting the Tennessee Cup and The members that can’t make it to TN are going to be racing at Kent Island. How exciting to watch CCWBRA grow! 

Kent Island Yacht Club is nestled on a gorgeous peninsula along Maryland’s beautiful Kent Narrows on the Chesapeake and has been an exciting and fun location for our Regattas for many years. KIYC has a rich history of hosting regattas and is very welcoming to our organization.

Boats may be dropped off at the Kent Island Yacht Club the evening before the event for this fun, one-day event! 

Schedule of Events: 

Saturday

9:00 am – Check-In or Registration, Weigh-In, Safety Inspections -all classes

10:15 am – Mandatory Drivers’ Meeting – all classes

10:30 am – Races Begin!  Races will continue until completed 

12:00pm – Lunch (Lunch will be available for purchase directly through the Kent Island Yacht Club) 

                     Depending on the race schedule we may or may not break for lunch. 

Awards & Dinner:  Following Last Race & Clean-Up:     AWARDS CEREMONY!!! 

Please stick around after the awards ceremony for dinner. The Kent Island Yacht Club Dining area and full service bar are available for us after the races!! This is always a good time and we have enjoyed this privilege for many years. Thank you KIYC!!!!
